Icelandic Sheepskin Rugs

Have you ever seen a sheep from Iceland?

They are amazing animals. There obviously a very hardy breed and have to live in quite brutal surroundings.  As with a lot of livestock, they are used for their meat and as a bi product there pelts are used for rugs, clothing and textiles.  Rug House we have found an ethical supplier of these sheepskins and have brought them to the UK for you to enjoy.  The Natural Sheepskin Rugs from Iceland are a stunning new addition to our catalogue. These latest additions come from very rare breeds and therefore we only have very limited stocks available.
The methods used to clean the skins are all eco-friendly, there is a pleasant smell to the sheepskin and they are non –allergenic.
The Icelandic Sheepskin Rugs are very natural and individual, they have not been dyed, so they maintain all their original markings and colour pigment. The characteristics are long fluffy wool and naturally shaped. The wool also tends to be curlier than your standard Sheepskin Rug and very soft to the touch. Check out our website to see for yourselves.

  1. Good selection! Wool rugs are the ultimate luxury, the thick pile and ultra soft touch gives wool rugs the utimate designer appeal. Vibrant and rich colours and hand carved designs make this a touch of class for you home.
